After all the floods and awful english weather during the summer we all had aprehensive feelings to what Scotland would throw at us in September!! How shocked were we when we were greeted with sunshine and fantastically calm conditions. Most of us got there on the Friday afternoon for a little shore dive round seagull rock to get those who hadn't dove in UK seas used to the conditions.

We had arrived suring a spring tide so the water movement was over 5m so we go a really good idea of what we could find on a high tide. St. Abbs, for those who have never been, is a very small picturesque village that still has a few lobster boats in the harbour, but is really moving towards the diving tourism to get a safer source of income for the area. Over the next couple of days we did 4 dives going out on the boat to different sites to see how alive UK waters are. Admitedly fish were few and far between but there were massive amounts of other sealife to be seen.

The video shows the best bits that I captured but there was much more that "slipped" past the lens (ok I had some good pictures but many more "not so good" ones as well!!) I have to thank Dr Pete and Steve for there contributions as we pooled all the pictures (Any SYDA club members who want copies of them just drop me a note and I will sort it for you).

Hope you Enjoy and Leave me any feedback good or "constructive".
Due to this site continually saying my video's are "In breach of there service agreement" but won't tell me why. I have decided not to post any more video's on here and post them all on my Facebook site.

I know this means you have to register to see them but Facebook's not all that bad and the video quality playback is far superior to here or You tube.
